Microlink I-Tip Installation + Theory Video – Monti Academy's favorite extension method but we promise not to play favorites! This hour long installation video goes into detail about set-up, sectioning, installation, removal and re-tipping. Get up-close and personal as Deb teaches you on a mannequin virtually. You will see two full installs (natural hair and kinky curly hair) from start to finish with loads of pro tips along the way.
Tape-In Installation + Theory Video – One of the fastest methods to install but it's also the method that needs to be done correctly or else it can cause pain and damage. In this 45 minute video, you will see Deb thoroughly teach you a full Tape-In installation on a live model. She adds in pointers on common mistakes and how to avoid them. You will also learn how to install single Tape extensions for clients with fine hair.
Waterfall Weft Installation + Theory Video – Monti Academy will always teach: No tight tension, No over-direction and Equal weight with all our methods. In our weft video, we show you a different approach for a safer and more comfortable waterfall weft install. There is more to an extension service than just the install! All Installation Courses start with our signature 2-hour Theory video to watch first. Theory is included in the price. No need to buy separately, we provide it for for the best extension education experience. We want you to know the "Why" before we teach you the "How". The Theory video correlates with your downloadable workbook. All you need to do is follow along and take notes!
Theory Video- In this prerequisite video, we will go over how to give a successful Consultation, the different Methods available and how to help your client choose the right one. Your service is only as good as the product you use so you will learn all about the product you use- the Hair. Theory covers Color Matching, After-Care, How to Order and briefly touches base on Marketing yourself.
All videos come with downloadable workbook and a Monti kit to get you started. The Monti Kit includes all tools, supplies and practice hair for your installation training. You will need a mannequin (not provided in kit). Please allow 4-5 business days for your kit to arrive.
